What is Zoom?

Zoom is a web based communications platform that allows you to connect with other users through audio, video, phone, and chat. 

What are the System requirements for Zoom?

  • A broadband or wireless internet connection  (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth speakers and a microphone 
  • A built-in, USB plug-in webcam or HD webcam - built-in, USB plug-in or an HD cam or HD camcorder with a video-capture card

What operating systems does Zoom support?

  • macOS X with macOS X (10.10) or later
  • Windows 11 (on Zoom version 5.9.0 or higher) 
  • Windows 10 (Devices running Windows 10 must run Windows 10 Home, Pro, or Enterprise)

Can I run Zoom on my device?

Yes. You can run zoom on iOS and Android devices, Blackberry devices, Surface PRO 2 or higher (running Windows 8.1 or higher), and Tablet PCs running Windows 10 Home, Pro, or Enterprise. Note: Tablet PCs only support the Zoom desktop client.
