Treatises: Home

A legal treatise is a comprehensive publication on a single topic written by an expert in the field. Treatises can be extremely useful secondary sources both in that they collect detailed information on a particular legal topic and they can lead to useful primary authorities. Use this research guide to learn about and access treatises and other materials, both in print and online. They're arranged by class at the tab level. Each tab contains treatises and secondary sources broken down by category: Introductory, In-Depth, Massachusetts, and Drafting.
