What is Trauma-Informed Lawyering?
This approach goes beyond the traditional legal practices by recognizing the prevalence and unique nature of trauma, acknowledging individuals involved in the legal system who may have experienced various forms of trauma. This practice fosters an environment that centers on the needs of those who experienced trauma. Trauma-Informed Lawyering helps to better serve clients while contributing to a more compassionate legal system.
